The scholarly aim of the project is to pursue the compilation of the academic Dictionary of Contemporary Slovak Language, which is an explanatory dictionary, a dictionary of evidence and a descriptive-prescriptive dictionary. Partial aims are following: 1. finish the 5th volume and submit the camera ready text for printing by 12/2027, 2. in the research part of the project, focus on lexical and grammatical issues of the Dictionary and on creation and optimization of tools for the software analysis of corpus data, 3. organize a scientific conference, 4. prepare a complete bibliography of the project since 2000, 5. from 2028 onwards, start a continuous processing of errata from published volumes, 6. start compiling the 6th volume (depending on the current state of other works).
